Welcome to our first ever CommUNITY Day!!! We have successfully hosted a variety of activities in the past, including the Belleville West End Ogre & Princess 5K and a recycling event. This year we are going all out on November 9th! Thanks to generosity of St. Matthew United Methodist Church for sharing its facilities and partnerships with Belleville Running Club, Belleville Chiro-med, and Power Recycling, we have the means to offer a 3-in-1 event! Belleville Running Club will host a FREE 5K at 8:30am, using recycled awards and t-shirts from other events in the area. Belleville Chiro-med will share information about their services and provide stretching to those in attendance. A FREE yoga session will follow the 5K at 10:30am. Power Recycling will collect items from 9:00-12:00. Proceeds from the recycling event will be donated to Backstoppers. Donations accepted from participants of the event will be also be given to Backstoppers. So please join us as we celebrate our commUNITY!!!
Ogles Watch Neighborhood Association (OWNA) is a Neighborhood Watch group formed by residents of The Ogles in Belleville, Illinois to enhance the livability of the neighborhood and to establish and maintain an open line of communication and liaison among the neighborhood, government agencies and other neighborhoods.
